My name is Kevin Garling I live in Baldwin, NY. You could consider where I live to be the "country". My interests are hiking off-trail, gardening, and spending as much time as I can in my back-yard which is essentially a forest. I was born in Elmira, NY and I have lived at my house for my entire life. I do not live on campus and I drive nearly 35 miles a day to school. I am majoring in Environmental Science and I chose this field because I cannot see myself doing anything else and without more like-minded people in this field we will continue to pollute and destroy our planet. My career aspirations are to become a soil scientist to develop sustainable agriculture and then one day live off the grid and reduce my footprint on the earth to essentially nothing.
