LGBTQ

Some places in the United States are against the basic rights of the LGBTQ community. LGBTQ stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer. This community has been growing in the past years because more and more people have accepted and/ or joined this community.

The growing number of people means that the government have taken notice and they have slowly been giving rights to the community. This is quite surprising considering they are humans just like everyone else. They should have the right to marry, adopt, and express their love just like everyone else. Sexuality has been a huge problem in our history. From people not understanding to people discriminating the LGBTQ community, they have had serious problems being accepted into our society. Humanist agree that the LGBTQ community should not be having these problems. They should be just as accepted into our community as everyone else. The reasons people still discriminate against these people are numerous but no matter the excuse, there should be no discrimination.

The LGBTQ community are regular people who deserve the same rights as everyone else.
