Not so disappointing after all

According to the article ’ ’New tuberculosis vaccine doesn’t protect infants’’ , written by Maria Cheng with the Associated Press and published by CTV News on February 4th 2013, the vaccine that doctors and scientists in London, England, thought would protect infants against Tuberculosis is yet to be found.
The study completed for this cause showed that the results are rather disappointing. This vaccine, also called MVA85A, surprisingly failed to achieve the goals and expectations set by the scientists. However, deaths caused by Tuberculosis happen generally among adults and the new vaccine seemed to be effective, therefore, the research wasn’t a total failure.
Fortunately, the few side effects of this new vaccine aren’t estimated dangerous. Plus, a dozen more TB vaccines are currently being tested which is the best thing to do at this point. The damages this disease is causing are increasing and cannot be ignored. Scientists are doing a great job so far and should continue their research until they eventually achieve their final goal.
