This paper looks at one of these countries, Netherlands, and how the public reacted to it and the safety it brought with it. On a sunny afternoon sitting in a Starbucks drinking the darkest coffee I asked myself why did I chose to get mobilized for the Aboriginals? The answer is as simple as the question: because if I don’t care then we have to assume nobody will!

I care about the topic of drug-free treatment for mental illness because I strongly believe that it should be encouraged around the world. I’ve seen people in my life that are close to me suffer from mental disorders and the horrible side effects they had to go through while taking pharmaceuticals and visiting doctors every week. I care about it even more than I did before because I know a lot more about it now. In order to get my results, I read and analyzed specific chapters from 3 different novels that I found the most relevant to my topic.

To continue on the same realm of thoughts that I have been posting about recently, I was able to find an article written by David Bornstein in The New York Times. Once again, this article touches the same subject as his book; it is entitled “The Rise of the Social Entrepreneur”. In his article he mentions about how the field for social change is getting smarter and could be compared to the Enlightenment.

Many American citizens lack to realize that homelessness is not a choice and that many people believe that they are homeless for their own reasons. The research performed by Chamberlain and Johnson solves this issue by comparing substance abuse and homelessness. During their research they were able to determine which come’s first homelessness or substance abuse.

In a research article qualified as a special issue paper, T.A. Van Den Broek & al. gathered information from social entrepreneurship and social movement theory to analyze the impact dotcauses have for sustainability. In other words, dotcauses occur when an organization wants to have more influence on public policies, and they turn towards cyberspace to advocate. The authors look at two different types of dotcauses; social entrepreneurs that commerce with businesses online and several online social entrepreneurs that focus on firms for protests.
