This ritual is practice by some African, Middle Eastern and Asian communities (BBC New Africa, 2013). One of the main points and certainly needed when trying to understand these communities is the reason behind the ritual. These communities practice FGM with the belief that it protects women’s virginity and woman marriageable (BBC New Africa, 2013).

How a parent treats their child from the time of birth results in how the child will act and behave through out the rest of their adolescent lifetime. The two parenting types that are focused on in this article are authoritative parenting and permissive parenting. Authoritative parenting involves an aggressive parenting style. This article explores the question of how a women's health is affected by having a baby at a young age. The way of collecting data was a survey that was taken by 12,686 women aged 14-22 years old. This survey's results were the levels of the young mom's health were overall lower than women who had children at a normal age. Having a baby in the young years results in the lowering of one's education level, which therefore leads to landing lower-end jobs. With this being the case, young girls don't have the money for health care.

Actually in Greece, it is said that seven young people entering on the job market out of ten will be unemployed. At the moment, it represents the highest unemployment level in Europe with a percentage of 62.4% of young adults between the age of 16 and 25. This period of unemployment is caused by the financial crisis that, as we know, affected Greece gravely since around 2010. You have the ITA (Indoor Tanning Association) battling the medical professionals on the stance on whether or not tanning is good for you. The ITA is claiming that since cancer is related to lows levels of Vitamin D in the body, tanning in beds and outdoors is good for you since it exposes you to those needed minerals. On the other hand, medical personnel say that the darker one's skin is, the slower the body obtains Vitamin D.
