In the past few years, the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), also known as the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), has wreaked havoc throughout the Middle East and the Western world through its war crimes, destruction of cultural heritage, and displays of violence against civilians and soldiers. Although the futurist (Botz-Bornstein 1) self-proclaimed caliphate exerts brute force just as any other terrorist group, it differs from such groups due to its strategic omnipresence in mainstream social and news media outlets (Farwell 49).

On July 27 2015, New York Times posted an article discussing how the suicide rates are increasing and the reason for it is because everyone strives to be perfect. According to the article suicide rates among 15 to 24 year olds have increased from 9.6 deaths per 100,000 to 11.1 deaths. A survey done by college counselors found that 50 percent of their clients have extremely bad cases of psychological problems such as anxiety and depression; it has risen by 13 percent in just two years.

Her purple undergarments, long, shiny, and spread legs that take up a significant portion of the ad, as well as her bent body are all very sexual.   The woman in the advertisement is wearing dark makeup and red lipstick, which is typically attractive to the target audience, men between 18 and 30. She is in a retro kitchen, possibly from the 1950s, taking a turkey out of the oven.

The article Woman Denied an Abortion in Republic of Ireland was Raped was published on August 18th, 2014 on the BBC News website. It describes what happened to a woman (her name is not mentioned due to privacy policies) who was raped and got pregnant after it happened. This particular woman demanded to have an abortion, after being eight weeks pregnant, but the health staff categorically refused to end her pregnancy until they could safely remove the baby by caesarean section. According to the law, in Ireland, it is illegal to get an abortion.
