Obessive Compulsive Disorder has various sides. The article writting in The Guardian was different from what we normally hear from OCD's. It was the story of a young girl who used the pseudonym Rose Bretécher explaining how she found out she had Pure O, an OCD that is mostly only Obsession's rather than rituals or compulsions like washing your hands compulsively. In this case Rose has sexual images appearing in her head 24/7. Everything she looks at or thinks about is sexual.

Various types of OCD's exist, but in this article the young man has symetrical OCD. What this means is that he has to do everything with both his left hand and right hand or left foot or right foot. As he explains, it may seem simple to live with and not to overwhelming, but when you think about it you realize how hard it actually is.
