About me:

Norm Spatz entered the Cégep system in 1989 teaching Architectural Technology in French. As a result of declining enrolment in his original department and the reform which made English a core studies requirement, he became an ESL teacher in 1997 but never abandoned his technical interests. In late 2006 he was brought into the Profweb team to write about the use of information technology with a focus on the English college network.

Since few years the technology got a big advancement in the industry. Now everything can be connected, we only have to write someone’s name on google to find plenty things about him. I think that technology is affecting business in a wrong way. The ethics can't be fuelled trusted now because the patron can go and see what you do all the time like on facebook or on twitter. It can be hard to understand the true difference between work and the personal life.

Post about the topic in general or about an aspect of this question that you find interesting. The length should vary according to your abilities in English (and what you have to say). The Criteria for Evaluation are as follows:

The company that I chose as ethical is Starbuck, a company that offers several types of coffee, pastry and many other products. Starbucks believes that conducting business ethically and striving to do the right thing are vital to the success of the company. Business Ethics Starbucks is a program that supports their mission. I choose Cirque du Soleil, because I think that is interesting to talk about a company who belong at Montreal. They are entertaining and have a lot of creative. Here are eight types’ characteristics that define what we are all about; acrobatic performance, acting, art forms from around the world, imaginary worlds, daring, dance, dexterity and grace. Cirque du Soleil is a special business even their website is very bright like they are.The owner of this company is famous because he is the creator of this big empire: Guy Laliberté.  Also, he became the first tourists who visit the space.

I have decided to talk about Subway Company because I believe it is an ethical business. First of all, this company import their vegetable from country that doesn’t exploit the children. Also, Subway presents a healthy menu. She encourages the people with her active life program. This program helps people to lose weight and to have healthy life and support them with a mentor/coach. Subway Company supports the young sport teams. She subsidises local team and provide them with free submarines and bottles of water during sport tournament like hockey, golf and soccer.

When I made my application to college, I did not study art in it. Then a friend of mine told me she was in business management and she explained what could be done with this technique, how to trade could lead to. I found it interesting to see the trades in which I could run when I finish my studies. I must say that I was uncertain at first because I wanted to go into hospitality or advertising. The technique publicity I abandon this option because it was too far, I would have had to move in an apartment and I think at the age of 17 I was not ready to leave my house.

At first, I had no idea towards which field of study to go for because I did not know what I wanted to do as a living. I thought wisely and figured that I should choose a program that would be useful in life no matter what domain I would make a career in. Assuming that I am a person who has good leadership, who is comfortable at making critical decisions and has no problem  working with others, I figured, why not begin with Business Administration? This program touches many areas of specialization like Marketing, Management, Finance, Information Technology, International Business etc.

I chose business administration because I couldn’t find something else I would like better. I don’t intent to create my own company, but I sure would like to help others with theirs. I like this program because it helps me understand the “Wall Street way”. There’s so much domain where I can apply what I’ve learned. It goes from doing some lame paperwork to managing a zoo.  Eventually, everything leads to money. Economy is everywhere. If you need to eat, if you want to protect the environment of if you’re for free education, money is required.

Hi, i am a student at cegep du Vieux-Montreal in business management in 4th session. I understand that the ethical business is how people  and instituions should act in the wold of business. It focuses on the rules and principles in the context of Economic and Business Affairs.

Hi, my name is Nicolas Léopold, I’m in my 4'Th session at "Cégep du Vieux-Montréal".  You don't have to be an expert to write an article. I’ll show you why. Here’s an article that I wrote about "Ethical Business". What is a best way to introduce the subject than to give you my definition of what an ethical business is and what it should be. There are, in fact, differences between those two ideas. We all know that the reality is not what it should be.
