Members of minority groups are often barred from opportunities within the larger society which can become dangerous. Bollaín’s Even the rain (2010) is unique because it portrays a film within a film, illustrating the struggles faced by minority groups in both the past and the present. The movie being created is about Indian exploitation by Christopher Columbus’ attempt to overtake The New World. At the same time, audience members are drawn out of the making of the film to watch as a man named Daniel leads violent protests against the powerful leaders in Bolivian society.

Sometimes religions believe in different things so when they see obscene piercings or crazy tattoos they highly frown upon it. So the showing off of these is commonly discriminated against. People find this very unfair because the first amendment claims that everyone has the freedom of speech, association, and religion, and equal claims.

As said in the article written by Jim Reed, journalist for the BBC, many homeless teenagers’ cases are not being well administrated in England. The BBC Newsnight found out that on a total of 208 local councils, 119 of them admitted to have placed many teens in bed and breakfast hotels throughout the last year.
