Homeless is a societal problem rather than an individual issue. By creating a more community effort one can reduce and end the issue of homeless all together.

On Thursday, February 27, 2014, an article was published online on CTV “Quebec unveils $52M plan to tackle homelessness”. This article explains how the Quebec government is willing to invest about 52 million dollars to help solve the problem of homelessness found in the province. There are five domains where this investment will be mainly focused upon. These areas consist of “housing, health services and social services, income, education, social inclusion and social and professional integration and issues related to criminalization”.

Homelessness is obviously an important social problem that many countries have to deal with. It is an important social issue because basically anyone could become homeless at some point in their life. Fortunately, there are many people that recognize the seriousness of this issue and have tried to address it through various actions. In Canada, one of the most influent activists concerning homelessness is Stephen Gaetz.

Fashion and beauty are part of our every day life. We are judge constantly on our appearance and ignoring others' judgment is extremely difficult. People are ready to do many things to achieve what they want to look like. Whatever they do, some will never like what they see in the mirror.  These people will often develop eating disorders like anorexia and bulimia. These problems are very present in the women's fashion industry because girls are constantly comparing themselves with each other.

Eliana Dockterman (2014) writes an article in which she looks at two studies done that focus on the effects MTV shows 16 and Pregnant, and its spinoff, Teen Mom, have on teenagers. One study argues that these television shows have glamorized teen pregnancy, while the other says that they are actually helping to prevent it.
