For the past few years, we have heard that Venezuela wasn't doing that well, with president Hugo Chavez, who ruled Venezuela for 14 years, due to him their economy is falling apart, and now with President Maduro, it has completly gotten out of hand. This is the main issue to why people are struggling these days. A few years back we started noticing that slowly Venezuela would turn out to be more or less like Cuba - and how its very communist, and today we see that quite clear with this "war" that hasnt yet been declared a "civil war."

Rio's favela pacification seems to be going on its way, although some people are still trying to wrap their heads around the whole idea – some feel intimidated by seeing to many policemen around them. Is this a good thing or bad thing? Basically , this article is saying that Teens have zero privacy when they're posting on facebook. I disagree because the privacy settings allows you to change to thatg nobody but you and your friends can see it. The author of this article must not know about how to change the privacy settings. As soon as you sign up for your account it doesn't allow anybody you don't have as a friend to see what you post. You have to do that yourself if you want to make your profile public to the world.

In the past two months, I haven't seen a magazine or entertainment show without something to do with Miley Cyrus as a headline. The gossip spotlight has been shining on her ever since her so-called 'risqué' and 'provocative' performance where she pranced around in nude colored bikini style outfit. Let's not forget the 'appropriate' use of the now infamous foam finger. Besides all the hate and criticism this girl has dealt with these past months, she has made it very clear that she doesn't care about the negative criticism. Her close friends and family are all by her side.

The complete Union High School football team was suspended from all football related activity on Friday. The suspension is due to cyber bullying. The team’s head coach, Matt Labrum found out that couple of his players were bullying another student through a social media. The website, ask.fm, is a page where you can block your identity by using a username, but the coach did not manage to find who were bullying but it surely was one of the football player.

The title of the article I chose to analyse is “There is a hidden cost to beauty in China: It’s the only major market where companies must test on animals, activists say” and it is written by Liza Lin Bloomberg.  It is basically about the Chinese government who sets as a rule that new beauty products must be tested on animals in order to be sold on the market.  However, companies such as l’Oréal are against animal testing, but they also want to sell their products in China, which creates a dilemma.  The opposing values here are animal rights, which consumers demand animals to be treated lik
