About me:

I'm Tjavanga, or T.J for short, and I'm from Namibia and am currently studying Oil, Gas & Energy Management at Coventry University.

I decided to do this course because Oil and Gas is an up and coming sector in my country and we have a lack of skilled professionals. This course will (hopefully) open many doors towards a rewarding career in this industry.

Outside school, my interests include s̶l̶e̶e̶p̶i̶n̶g̶, reading and watching T.V. My favourite author is Stephen King and, currently, my favourite T.V shows include Supernatural, Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad (I've been trying to catch up).

I'm a humanist.

As students studying Oil, Gas and Energy Management, we were tasked to watch “An Inconvenient Truth”, a film about global warming and climate change in general. Here are our views after watching the film: Generally, our group was a little divided on this issue. The images and data shown to us was quite alarming and one cannot watch that without it impacting on one’s views on the topic.
