“Increasing the Effectiveness of Homework for All Learners in the Inclusive Classroom” is an article written in 2013 about different methods that teachers can use to increase how well homework actually helps the pupil. Doing things such as giving the student a choice in his/her homework and maintaining that homework at a moderate difficulty level keeps students somewhere between bored and frustrated. This provides a happy student and also good test grades. As well as homework, the teacher should also provide in class teaching.

While the wage gap is a widely controversial topic, it does indeed exist. However, what most people do not realize is that this wage gap might be in place for a good reason. The United States percentage as a whole says that on average women get around 80% of the pay that men receive annually. That means if a man is making $100,000 annually, that on average depending on the state, a woman would make around $80,000 doing the exact same job with the exact same qualifications.

The article that CBC released was regarding the concern of air quality in Fort McKay. This report outlined 17 new recommendations for improving the air quality in the Fort McKay region. It has also been created in as a step to improve the relationship between first nations and the government.  The problem is that although this report is beneficial to the aboriginal community, which is a community of 600 to be exact, this problem has long been occurring.

Carbon emission is one of the biggest contributors to environmental impacts. Not only is it polluting our land and air but also our water, especially the ocean. For the past two centuries, anthropogenic carbon emission has been increasing constantly and studies show that approximately one-third is absorbed by the ocean. When carbon dioxide touches the surface of the ocean it dissolves and forms carbon acids that eventually decrease the pH level in the Ocean which will affect diverse marine livelihoods.

  This year marks the 10th in a race to bring up bison numbers across North America. Now at this anniversary bench mark, the effort to save the bison have been touted as a success, the first success of its kind for America’s conservation programs. So much so that America has decided to name the bison their national mammal. Around thirty-thousand Bison now roam in their native habitat, however thirty thousand is actually less than one percent of the original population, so why the celebration? The answer is that very few thought that the American bison would survive at all.

Nuclear power has both a positive and negative view around the world.  The benefit of nuclear power is that it emits fewer greenhouse gases that contribute to global warming and climate change.  The negative aspect of nuclear power was evident from the event Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster.  The Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster showed us that there is a lack of control over the risks.  Some of the risks of nuclear power is that is produces many health risks and harmful effects to the environment.
