A few days ago, I read an article on the website of the American association for the advancement of science. It was talking about changes in the Arctic Ocean. Since 2002, a team of scientists from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, led by Igor V. Polyakov, is making observations in this part of the Earth. The researchers set buoys to collect data during the different seasons and they compared them with those they take with satellites. They notice that the Arctic Ocean starts to have more common features with the Atlantic Ocean.
