When students make a transfer in their lives from adolescence to adulthood, it tends to be a very stressful part of their lives. They start to learn about themselves, are given more freedom than they know what to do with, and are also given a lot more responsibilities with that freedom. These can all be stressful events.

Antonia Biggs & colleagues (2013) constructed and analyzed the results of a study determining reasons why women have abortions. During this study they interviewed  954 women from all over the United States. These women were placed in an exam room for 40 minutes and asked one question, for what reason did they decide to have an abortion? The article I read was about children with special needs participating in hippotherapy. Hippotherapy is when people use horses/ horse riding as their therapy. Horseback riding as rehabilitation is something that has been recognized since 1875 (Granados, Agís 2011). The treatment relies on the horse’s movement and the patient’s reaction to the movement. The reason that this method of physical therapy is known for being affective is because a horse’s walk closely resembles a human walking, so the rider goes though the same motions of walking, without using their legs. Hippotherapy has been used to treat children who have a wide range of disabilities, including autism, cerebral palsy, communication disorders, cerebrovascular accident stroke, developmental delay, Down syndrome, language disabilities, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, spinal cord injuries, and traumatic brain injuries (Granados, Agís 2011).

In the article on BBC News written by Nina Lakhani, the situation of abortion that El Salvador is facing is exposed. It is said that women have the obligation to keep a baby if pregnant, and therefore abortion is illegal. Not only it is illegal but the women who are denouced are accused of murder of their child, and a case of miscarrying is therefore considered suspicious. Women who are denouced are sent to women's prison where they face their sentence for years. Even if a women is pregant by the result of a rape, abortion is not accepted.

Researchers at the University of Massachusetts discovered that when young adults are given tobacco paraphernalia they are three times more likely to at least try cigarettes. Also adults have a huge influence on their children. It is a proven fact that 75% of children live in a house hold where their parents smoke. So if parents don’t want their child to ever smoke then they have to quit themselves.
