I have decided to do my volunteer work with an organism related to homelessness. After doing some research on the volunteer opportunities close by, I chose to contact the Accueil Bonneau situated in the old Montreal. This organism has as a goal to welcome any homeless person or anyone who is at risk of homelessness by daily journeying with that person in responding to his basic needs and helping him achieve a better quality of life and well-being. The work I did there was to serve the people who came to have a lunch during the second service of the day.

Even during the twenty-first century, there is still violence occurring towards animals. Several laws were newly installed in order to help animal cruelty situations, but there are still a lot of animal abuse occurring in the world. In this essay, animal abuse will be argued to still be common nowadays for small animals and farmed animals. It will also be viewed as the responsibility of a  veterinarian to see and protect the animal’s rights whenever it sees animal abuse made on one of their patients.

A great place to go and do some easy volunteering work is in Saint-Constant, called Refuge A.M.R. . This place ensures the security and well being of homeless animals that were not reclaimed or that were abandoned. It is a non-lucrative association. This spring, Refuge A.M.R. has a huge project called Mission Museau Gris, that takes care of senior cats and dogs that are more than 8 years old. This project evolves giving those animals a second chance, by sponsoring those animals. This program helps to decrease the costs of the treatments giving to animals.

They have been found on the road in a distance of 100 meters long.  The carcasses of 16 kangaroos were found dead this Monday, said Michael Beatty, who works for the Royal Society of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA).
