As someone who started to follow hockey only within the last year or so, I was shocked to see that fighting was permitted in the sport. Recently, I went to a hockey game and seeing the fighting up close rattled me. I couldn’t believe that no one was stopping what was happening in front of me. People were punching one another and when I asked why, I was told that it was part of the game. Although it was my first time seeing a game, I didn’t understand why the fight was necessary; it doesn’t put the puck in the net.

I could not believe the title of the article when I read it. I'm usually not interested by the topic of the legalization of marijuana because, to me, every article on this subject reads like propaganda. Also, the lack of rational and rigorous scientific research does not enable me to take position. I chose this subject, however, because it forced me to think about a dilemma that I have never been confronted with before. Paige and Matt Figi faced a harsh decision indeed.
