According to an article made by Greg Quinn, from Bloomberg news, 54 500 Canadian full time jobs were lost last March and unemployment rose from 7.0 % to 7.2%. The economists were predicting a 7.0 % rate for March 2013. In February only 55 700 jobs were made. Private companies cut many jobs, as well as food services, manufacturing and also in a water heater plant near Fergus, Ontario. The average hourly wage rose from 2.2 % for permanent employees from March 2012 to 2013. The working agencies think it’s hard to keep employees in the condition the Canadian economy is right now.
