Guatemala is being eaten by the poverty

In the Central America, in the country of Guatemala, there is up to 10,000 to 15,000 of children less than 5years who are dying from malnutrition. More than 49% of those children are suffering form chronic malnutrition, and that are dying each days, according to UNICEF. More than 14 millions of people are living in poverty, due to economic crises, to natural catastrophes such as inondations, cyclones, etc. The average of people suffering from malnutrition keeps increasing, and this situation is also going on in Honduras, in El Salvador, in the Nicaraguan, in Bolivia , Peru and Equator.

What is going on there has been going on for too long. In don't think it is fair that millions of children are suffering of chronical malnutrition. There should not be millions of people living in extrem poverty as they do. But we most keep hope, and I think that the organist UNICEF is helping a lot. There is not much they can do more than what they are doing actually. We should have more organizations like that to come in help to countries suffering from poverty. We could have more but I think we spend too much money on other things, that are yes necessary, example on the frearms registry. Yes it is important, but spending less on it and more on organizations to help.
