In the text Climate Change Is Suffocating Large Parts of the Ocean, a billfish expert name Eric Prince notice that there was something wrong with the Blue Marlin. He discovered that the one from the United States dive half-mile to chase while the same species in Guatemala and Costa Rice stay on the surface. He discovered that The billfish are actually trying to avoid suffocating. It is a known fact that hot water is lower in oxygen and climate change is making the water hotter way much more faster in some locations. Hot water stokes the metabolism of larger creatures, it makes them use more oxygen. Climate change makes it harder for the fresh oxygen to really mix with the water that is deeper so there is less oxygen in general. Climate change really trouble some organism, as in the case of some marine creatures, it has a negative impact on reproduction, it makes their lives shorter and force them to adopt new behaviors. Not only climate change is dangerous for us, but it is also really dangerous to many other living things and this is why we should take action to slow global warming because if we don’t it will destroy our planet way much more faster than we expect.
