Why do they have to suffer the hunger?

For many generations, children from all around the world are suffering from hunger. These poor children didn’t choose to be born in a place where they would suffer so much due to the lack of food. They were just unlucky and were bound to that kind of fate. These children are undernourished every day and a lot of them even lose their life because they don’t have enough food to fill their needs. Everyone is equal, then why do they have to suffer so much while rich people are enjoying food like it was nothing.

People around the world have started helping these poor kids by either donating money or food. However, there is still way too many children undernourished and not enough people helping. If everyone starts donating just one percent of their food bill to companies, for example, UN Food and Agriculture Organization stated in the article World Hunger Falls but bigger push needed to meet global goals by Claire Provost on the first October 2013, who are fighting world hungers, many children would be saved and be able to enjoy three meals a day like a normal person should. According to Provost, in 2010, there was around 868 millions of children who were undernourished, that's not a small number at all. In 2011, it fell down to 842 millions of children who are suffering from this disaster. The problem did fall a bit, but consideration the numbers of children who are still living miserably, our progression of helping is way too slow.

In my opinion, parents who doesn’t have the resource to raise a child should not be allowed to bring one into our world. These selfish actions by the adults, who are supposed to be so called “responsible”, are fill with irresponsibility and they bring misery to the new generation. These kids brought into the world by them, should be raised properly by them and should at least be able to have three meals a day. Even though they might be smaller portion, because of poverty, it is better than nothing being able to fulfill the breakfast, lunch and dinner or even worse, not having a meal for days.

Every time I see people wasting food, I find it irritating. They order so much and waste a huge part of it because they are “full”. A lot of people worked on that food, from farmers to chiefs. They all had to put a lot of effort whether it was to raise the food or to make the food. Hence, people’s incompetence make them order a huge amount of food, even knowing it’s too much, and throws a huge part of it in the garbage because they can’t finish it. Those people never gave a thought about other children that are suffering from hunger every day. They don’t even consider the importance of food. If most people would stop ordering and wasting food, instead, donating it to poor children, the world hunger issue would fall dramatically. If everyone would waste less money on each meal and just donate that extra money saved, many children would be saved and grateful to your actions.

My suggestion would be to act now, do not wait for others to start. Try making the first move in this cruel world we live in and influence friends and family members to take the same action for the children suffering from this madness.

I deeply apologize if my summary is offending some people. My intention was not to judge people but to simply state my point of view.

I think it needs to be pointed out to you that not all adults who have children actually chose to have a child. There are cases of rape, where the mother can be deemed powerless and cannot have an abortion, so she is left with no other option than to have the baby and take care of him/her. This does not make the mother irresponsible or not "allowed" to keep the child, nor does it mean she does not try her best to keep her baby safe. There are parents who are perfectly well-financed who do not deserve to have children, but choose to anyway. Parents who have drug and/or alcohol addictions, abusive parents, neglectful parents, criminals…. Poverty is not a sign of a weaker being. It is an issue in this world that needs to be tackled by our government. To say that someone who was less fortunate in this world should not be allowed to give life to another human does not any sense, nor is it right to say something like that.

The points you stated out are totally true and remarkable, I couldn't agree more. However, I believe you misread or misunderstood my point of view about the disaster of world hunger. I totally understand that there's a lot of cases of rape, that's the reason I did not mention or blame them for everything or anything. Sadly, those are problems that are near impossible to solve and there's almost nothing we can do about it.
"There are parents who are perfectly well-financed who do not deserve to have children, but choose to anyway. Parents who have drug and/or alcohol addictions, abusive parents, neglectful parents, criminals…." Thank you for this marvelous specification, it was exactly what I meant by mentioning "These selfish actions by the adults, who are supposed to be so called “responsible”.
When you stated " Poverty is not a sign of a weaker being.", it is something I totally agree with since I mentioned clearly that "Everyone is equal, then why do they have to suffer so much while rich people are enjoying food like it was nothing. ".
Furthermore, "It is an issue in this world that needs to be tackled by our government.". That is one thing I'll have to disagree with. There's a problem, a worldwide problem and you're saying we should leave this to our government? It is an issue that we can start solving while the government is tackling other problems, why would we just leave it to our government like we have nothing to do with it?
"To say that someone who was less fortunate in this world should not be allowed to give life to another human does not any sense, nor is it right to say something like that." I never stated anything like that. It would be indeed really sad if we do let human give birth just cause they are poor. It was a only a recommendation to reduce the main problem focused on my topic, which was world hunger.
Anyhow, if people who can't even afford food for themselves decide to make birth, they will only burden themselves trying to feed another person and cause misery for the new child that was given birth. If a person or a family can't afford three meals a day for each family member, having an extra member in the family would cause even more trouble.

I have to say that I agree that there is too much waste of food. We all know that there is food enough in the world to feed everyone. The hard part of it is the logistics. How would it be possible to send a big amount of food to places all over the world without the food getting old. And should we just keep giving away the food to these people? I think that we should try to help them start up their own society where they can start producing food themselves and in that way they would slowly start to do things on their own. Because if we just keep giving food they would not learn how to make it go around.
