A sane mind in a drug free body

Drugs and alcohol are common addictions that have been social issues one way or the other for several years. A Montrealer, Jean-Sebastien Chouinard, started founded an organisation “Sober for a month, aware for a lifetime” in order to stop drinking but also to help those, like himself, to adopt a healthier lifestyle.  Since 89 percent of teenagers have already consumed some form of alcohol his focus is to make workshops under the name “Les 28 jours les plus long de ta vie” to raise awareness to the effects of alcohol on an individual lifestyle.

Although I agree with his concerns on youth alcohol consumption I believe it’s unhealthy to stop consumption as the question is not whether to consume or not consume but rather how much teenagers will consume. As Quebec is known for its heavy beer drinkers, learning how to moderate the consumption will be real life know how to these kids.
