Give a Hand to The 519

The 519 is an organization based in Toronto that aims at creating a true difference in the lives of individuals and at promoting understanding, respect and inclusion of LGBTQ people in their communities. They are also committed to the health and happiness of these same individuals. They provide multiple services, such as counselling services and coming out groups, as well as space where other organizations can hold meetings and activities and leadership services. 

Their most important upcoming event is their Green Space Festival that will be held between June 22 and June 25, 2017. Some of the events that will take place during the festival at their Barbara Hall Park Venue are Starry Night, One World, Lipstick Jungle and Disco Disco. Some other current volunteer opportunities with this organization are Family Resource Program Volunteer, Tax Clinic Host, Counsellor/Trauma Informed Counselling Service Volunteer, Tax Clinic Volunteer, Member Relation Volunteer, Newcomer Orientation Facilitator and the Firefly Pub during St-Patrick's day.

The 519 is opened Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 10:00pm, Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm and Sunday from 10:00am to 5:00pm.
