Nowadays, everything is done in a technological way. If you missed a tv-show last night, you can watch it on your cellphone or if you want to see somebody who lives in australia, you can skype this person. In business, there are technological evolutions too. The big boss of a huge company can attend a meeting while being on the other side of the world. The meeting may be on video conference or on the phone. Office work can be done anywhere with websites like google drive, outlook, newsactivist, facebook and more. These are all websites that publishes immediately what you want.

I totally agree with the fact that integrity must be the first criteria a company should look for when it comes to choose a manager. For some people businesses, competences, experiences and intelligence are more important than integrity. In my opinion, it’s easy to lie about those three things. Some people lie about their experiences and competences to have more credibility in front of the interviewers. What is tricky about the intelligence aspect is that it can be use in a good or a bad way.

In my point of view I don’t really think that technologies are the things that are most affecting ethics in Business but I also have to admit that in some ways, technologies can make it easier to have access to confidential information. But my main point is that I don’t think that an honest person will be more influenced too cheat or steal private information only because technologies make it easier. I think that technologies are only helping people who already are dishonest to do their dishonest activities like stealing confidential information from a competitive company per example.

I think that integrity is fundamental in Business for so many reasons. As it is said in the article "The importance of Integrity in Business", I also think that the principal factor that makes Integrity in Business really necessary is the image of yourself that you will provide to the eyes of your co-workers, your Bosses and also the rest of the world. The most realistic example of that here in Quebec is, without a doubt the “Commission Charbonneau”.

In a society that nowadays is as selfish as ever, everyone focuses on themselves and do not  care about the others. Today, older people, who have lived in a social environment do not tend to socialize anymore. Some of them don't have the conveyance to see their friends and some others may just have lost all of theirs. Some old persons may just have been abandoned by their family and live alone. In a sad world where loneliness in the main problem, I propose a service who will get older people out of their solitude.

I began thinking about what would be my product and my best friend was injured to his bicep. This started everything! I was wondering how he would be able to rehab his bicep without having issues with his injury. So I started imagining a device that will help people with injuries that restraint their mobility or their lost of strength. Automatically the body suit appear in my mind. It begins obvious that if you lift weight it will be painful and take a long time to rehab.

I think that technology will have a lot effects on ethics. Because, today it's use to cut employees and raise profit of the company. Company has to think if profit are better or a working population is more important. With neoliberalism, derregulation of economy and the globalization, multinationals like walmart or banks will have to think more for the population than for profit. If they don't want a meltdown of the society all by their fault. Technology will have a lot of effects on company ethics in near futur.

Technology have a big effect on ethical business. Technology can now replace a human in alots of jobs and the company have alot of ethicals questions in these cases. The company will think if he wants to hire people or buy technology and in alots of cases, companies uses machines for the efficacity and it is faster than anybody. And an other fact in technology is that people don't have to do alot of researches because everything is on Internet but sometimes it is not a good information and alot of people think that everyting on Internet is real.

What is an ethical business ? I think that an ethical business is a way for everybody to live equaly and witout any problems. A business that is ethical is a business who treats all employees good and takes decisions about someone in the company without thinking about how an employee is exteriorly but with the experiences that he have.

First, after reading those two articles we can affirm technology has progressed and so did we. Indeed, as humans and consumers we evolved with technology and it brought changes in our own behaviors. As we’ve seen in the article: “We want to be your friend” by the author Schumpeter, we’ve changed. In fact, we aren’t facing ads and marketing methods of approach like we use to do. In addition, technology has also brought changes to our workplace.

Since I didn't have anything to propose for the invention, Ì must say that I was pretty interested by my temmates inventions. Leonie talked about a flavor sink in which you can baiscally put any drink you want and just pour it out using a pedal. I love the idea to have my beer or moonshine poured to my glass from a sink in my own home so I was down with that. Then my man John proposed a kind of hybrid car that will use absolutely no gas. Less pollution for the future generations. Great idea. We finally chose John's hybrid car to make our business plan.

My name is Alex Hamel and I am second year Business Management student at the Cégep Vieux-Montréal in Montréal city.  The revolutionary product that I have decided to create is a cell phone which can be charge with solar energy. I want this invention to be able to generate a small amount of reserve charge for cell phones when its normal battery runs out and you have no access to electricity. The solar panel would be integrated between the display and the touch screen, because I don’t want it to ruin the esthetic of the phone.

For me, all the new technologies that we are now living with have change a lot in our society. But with all those new technologies, we have to adapt our self. Now that company gave computer to almost all their employees, many people are afraid of being watched while they go on their personal site during work time.  Obviously, people shouldn’t waste their time when they are working, but it takes a lack of ethic to spy employees all the time.

First of all, we all know how poverty reign all over the planet and millions of people starves to get something to eat every day. In Africa, for example, millions of people die every day because they don’t have anything to eat, and this for several days, and that often because the water is missing, the ground and weather is too dry, and people can’t really work because it’s too hot outside. Therefore, my dad and I have put together a machine that could do everything at once. Azaka can make the cut, the watering, the planting, the harvest and this 24 hours, 7 days a week.

First, allow me to introduce myself, my name is Karolane Rondeau, and I’m a third year Business Management student at Cégep du Vieux-Montréal in Montréal city. The website Corporate Kings is a specialized website on ethics in business. It’s where I found an article concerning a company who created natural rubber. This is an ethical company because they were aware of the need to protect the environment and they chose to make the necessary efforts to create an eco-friendly rubber.

During the brainstorm period we've had, my team and I shared a lot of ideas about an ethical product we'd like to produce. We finally decided to create an airspray that sprays over poop and make it desapear while leaving a mesmerizing smell behind. It would be a major benefit for the entire environment because there would be no more waste from dirty diapers anymore and no more waste from plastic bags for dog poop. It is ethical because it respects environment and we'll use natural products to create the spray.

I find your post very interesting. I'm agree with your point of view about integrity, but i will add a few comments about it. The key of success is the combination of integrity, bravery, perspective and social intelligence. Will all theses aspects, you can be at the top but, like you said in your post, the most important aspect is integrity. My definition on integrity is when someone does or says something because it’s in his values. When you respect your self you represent integrity.

When I've transferred my text into reverse, grammar light wasn't working for me, it showed me my writing errors. Most of my errors were vocabulary issues like terms... I wrote termes with an e, I've put business instead of a business , revolutionized instead of revolutionnated. Just to make a long story short...I think you can really say that on a text... most of the time it's used when you're telling a story. I think where I've written than I think you can say you're blessed...I've should of wrote then. I always get confused between general and general e but its general without an e and the end. Besides that, I'm pretty sure there's a lot of grammatical and syntax errors, but overall I give myself a 5/10 lol. Thank you New Activist!
