As we all know, the end of semester is a period where students are overloaded by exams and projects so their level of stress and fatigue is high. It is hard to stay focused when you do not have enough energy and sleep. This is a period where we have a lot of things to do at the same time and it is hard to manage everything. There are many bad consequences of stress because it inhibits our ability to perform as well as we would otherwise could. Eating properly can help reduce the stress.
We know that this is a really rough period for the students and we wanted to put some happiness in their live so we decided that we would do smoothies and that we would gave them for free all around the school. Smoothies are full of benefits and they are a good way to give to the student the boost of energy they need in this end of semester. Our main goal was to do approximately 250 smoothies so that all the students and the teachers could have one. We decided that we would distribute them at lunch break in the cafeteria, the library, the gym…
It was really important for us to spread joy and happiness at this time of year and we are glad that everything went well and that our project was successful. We hope that people will remember this day and the positive impact it has on their happiness and on their health. We are going to remember this day for a long time! The smile on people’s face when we were telling them that we were giving free smoothies will make me remember that spreading joy and making others happy can make us happy as well.
