Sadly, it happened again

Since the tragedy of Megantic Lake, Medias don’t stop talking of trains accidents. But this is real, even we give the excuse that we heard more story about train since this summer. The trains seem to be more and more dangerous, problematic and economically on drop.

Most of the trains carry cargo or passengers. In the two circumstances, it obviously put life in danger. This year, more than 34 train accidents have been reported. This is too huge! Trains are supposed to be safe.Only this summer, Megantic Lake tragedy makes 47 deaths, Santiado de Compostela derailment make 79 deaths. This is the two biggest of the year. The 47 deaths have been caused by the spill of 72 tanks cars of crude oils. An explosion follows the spill, in the town. The 79 deaths have been caused by the conductor of the train, who take the curve at 190 km/h, even if the limit was 80 km/h.

Since those two, eight accidents have been reported, what showed up we don’t understand trains need to have more measures of security. I choose this subject because today again, we’ve heard of a train collision with a bus, in Ontario. I’m convict that government and trains companies should review all the trains’ security, to protect themselves, but also the life of the population.
