A Lazy Population

Let’s not lie, the generation we live in right now is among the laziest ones. Remember the stories about your grandfathers and grandmothers, who walked to school, who worked hard to gain a penny, and to not forget, who stayed healthy. If we look at our generation, it is the total opposite. And the biggest concern is the health condition of our society.

In this article, Chef Raymond Blanc says that we need to learn how to grow food and how to cook it. And it is a true fact. Some of us are so used to eat frozen meals and fast food, that they forgot how simple it is to cook some basic meals such as a soup, or even spaghetti. Heart disease, obesity and diabetes are the consequences. The solution? STOP eating garbage! Chef Blanc states that cooking and gardening should be courses given in school. I can’t deny that. By knowing what you eat and how to eat, our health condition can only increase. No one died from eating healthy! People die because they don’t know what they are eating.

I find it really sad how our generation doesn’t care about basic knowledge in life such as cooking. You can find it funny a guy who cooks, but this guy is probably eating healthier than you. You don’t need to be a genius. It’s just that people are too lazy to act and start thinking about their healthy. Sure, if you go to the gym, you will loose some fat, but the main key to a healthier body is the food you take in.
