With the advancement of technology and the use made of it, more precisely social network, chip and security camera, there is a lack and loss of human privacy. It is important to have concern about this issue because privacy is basically what we need to protect our financial, social and intellectual lives.
With the explosive popularity of social networks, more and more of its users are victims. They experience a lack of privacy while the network takes their information for different purpose while people are not aware of it. There is also Cell phones companies who can do the same thing. This emergence of new devices creates a loss of confidential information in people's life.
The use of computers can lead to hackers, internet bullying and far beyond. In those situation the human privacy is being loss because of others and not necessarily the person itself. Linked to this, cloning human information is now more frequent. It can affect our financial lives, if we talk about online banking but also our emotional lives if it is about cyber bullying.
Surveillance cameras that are at first there to protect humans, are becoming more dangerous as the technology goes forward. While they are assuring the protection of human's life, they can violate their legal rights. People have the feeling that they provide them more privacy when in fact it is the opposite. Those tapes can be watched at any time and for any reasons. It is another technology that humans should be worried about.

I learned that technology does not automatically leads to positive aspects on the human lives. I was already concern about this subject but when I started to write about it I became more aware of our everyday life with technology. This paper will focus on the effect of certain technologic inventions as I previously said. Even if they can be useful, it will demonstrates that they all lead in a lack of privacy in one way or another.

Hi Alexandra, I decided to comment your post because the subject is very close to mine . My subject is about corporations and media is used by companies to influence us. Media is no longer safe and is now a spy tool. I share the same point of view as you and I think the technology is at a point where almost everything can be done with a single computer. It could be interesting if you talk about the good points of technology.

There is a part I practically appreciate in your text that I would like to talk about. It is when you talk about hackers. This is so easy to hack someone and just retrieve all his personal information. We no longer have privacy and everybody can know one’s life if they are good with a computer. Furthermore, people thrust these medium a lot. Information is given right away. Just by looking at someone’s page you can know where he lives, his email, his phone number etc… Last week, I received an email that a suspicious person changed my email and password of Facebook. It was someone from Africa. He could have check all my conversations and gather A LOT of data about me. Fortunately I retrieve my account after 5 min and he did nothing.
