ntimidation and bullying are not new, but they are more and more present in our life. At school, work, or public place, this problem can be everywhere. It’s important to be aware of it to make some change. If we don’t do anything about it, the consequences will multiply.

Bullying and intimidation can cause many problems such as suicide, sleeping problem and other unexplained psychosomatic symptoms. This can even lead to a certain point that the victim don’t want to go to school anymore or whatever environment the bullying is been done. If the issue is not treaded, this can have effects on mental and physical health into adulthood.

Some resources are offered to the population to prevent all kind of intimidation. For example, after a suicide in Ottawa, the prime minister announced a new national anti-bullying and anti-discrimination program. The purpose of the program is to make sure that everyone has the resources to prevent bullying. Here in Canada we have Tel-Jeunes, Moi j’agis and many others.

We can’t ignore this problem, we have to help the people who suffer because of that. And you never know, helping somebody can save his life.
