Stabbing in Toronto, Canada

On March 14th, 2016, there was a stabbing in Toronto, Canada. This wasn’t a major attack, with only two minor injuries, but the background information is noteworthy. A 27 year old Canadian citizen dressed in a white jumpsuit walked into a Canadian military recruitment center and attacked the soldiers inside with a knife. He slashed one soldier in the arm, and another while being arrested. At the scene, the criminal stated that “Allah told me to do this, Allah told me to come here and kill people.” No ones sure whether it was part of a terrorist attack, or whether he was a lone wolf. Ayanle Hassan Ali had no previous criminal records and was very cooperative with the questions. There are many people connecting last years parliament shooting, the incident where two soldiers were run-over by a car, and this incident with the Islam religion and how it’s violent, but in my opinion, these assumptions can not be made just because we only hear about the attacks that happen from a Muslim man/women. Attacks can happen from anyone, no matter the religion, and we can not look at the Muslim religion as a terrorist religion, seeing as all their beliefs revolve around peace.
