Breaking News: Caitlyn Jenner fills up her car at the gas station

An article recently talked about Caitlyn Jenner filing up her car at the gas station.  Caitlyn Jenner is the father of Kylie Jenner who changed sex and became a woman recently. With that article, we can ask ourselves a question, does the media really pay attention to the important stuff.

The media are a really important source of information and they can help the population to educate themselves and be aware of what happens in the rest of the world. The article about Caitlyn Jenner is a good example of what is more and more present in the media-- useless news. For example, in the United States presidency campaign, Donald Trump is the one that retain the most attention with his racist and dumb comments. Instead of that, the program of the different parties should be more covered by the media because it is what is really important. Another example of that is the fact that Kylie Jenner coming to the Beach club was almost the only thing that was present in the Quebec medias few weeks ago. Media do not focus their attention on the right things.

I strongly agree with you Mr. Ice Cube. For her 18th birthday; Malala Yousafzai, a nobel peace prize winner, opened a school for Syrian refugee girls. Instead of having this accomplishment displayed on the front page of every newspaper and magazine, they preferred putting something about the Kardashians. I believe this poisons our generation as it prevents us from understanding what is most important to helping society advance. It demonstrates that we should use individuals such as the Kardashians as role models rather than people such as Malala that could help our generation gain more appreciation. The media have really downgraded themselves into attention seekers rather than information deliverers.
