Starbucks: Ethical Business

First of all, the Starbucks company is in the top 10 of the must ethical Business in Canada. Starbucks has a reputation for the finest coffee in the world, legendary customer service and the highest integrity is the direct result of the collective efforts. This company is the first roaster and retailer of specialty coffee in the world and he becomes a truly global brand.

Why this company is a strong example of ethical business in today’s world? 

 The community involvement of this company is very large. First, Starbucks is committed to the highest ethical standards in all business transactions. Starbucks is committed to a role of environmental leadership in all facets of this business.  For example, they understand that environmental responsibility is necessary to preserve our world for generations to come. It is in 1992, they decided to pay attention to the environment. They do a guide of approach to minimizing their environmental footprint. All the partners of Starbucks should find ways to proactively address the environmental impacts of their operations and incorporate the principles of the environmental mission statement into their work. So, it the earth is very important for this American Company.


While I was writing my text on Bombardier Inc. about if in my opinion was an ethical company, I went on to see other posts since I was not very inspired on how to start and what to exactly write. I began to read your article when I saw your title "Starbucks: Ethical Business". Obviously it was the same work that I had to do. I find that your text is very good. Once I was finished reading it, I completely understood your point about ethics on Starbucks. Each sentence you wrote was  essential and well structured. I find your choice interesting because you can actually give your point of view on if they really follow their code of ethics as a client.
