The article << Crohn’s disease; An Invisible illness >> written by CherryBlossom, I think, is very touching. At the beginning of high school, I suffered with irritable bowel, which is a (very) light form of Crohn’s disease. The fifth paragraph explains exactly what my life was like at that time. It warms my heart to be able to connect with someone who lived through the same thing as me when no one else understands. Invisible illnesses, especially painful ones, are as painful physically as they are psychologically. It’s a good thing people around him finally understood his condition, but unfortunately, it’s not the case for everyone. That’s why the foundation Crohn’s and Colitis Canada is essential for the ill. It brings support and understanding amongst friends with the same condition and mostly, comfort. Thanks you for being a spokesperson for Crohn’s and Colitis Canada across Québec.
My discussion question is: how would you react to one of your friend having a painful and invisible illness like Crohn's disease?
